The Prince George Labour Day Organizing Committee informs that it will not be hosting the traditional march and celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, in keeping with its theme of labour fighting for the rights of everyone in our community, it “has collected financial contributions from a number of unions and community groups. We will be donating these funds to a variety of local organizations which, on Labour Day (Monday, September 6) and throughout the year, provide food, beverages and other supports to those in our community who are experiencing homelessness or other challenges meeting their needs and those of their children.”
