Contributions

CPC(M-L) relies solely on its members and supporters for its financing. It has no other source of funding and calls on those who support it politically to also support it financially.

Contribution Limits

The maximum contribution to a registered political party permitted by law in 2026 is $1,775.00. Tax law entitles you to a tax credit of 75 per cent of the first $400; 50 per cent of the next $350 and 33.3 per cent of any additional amount between $750 to $1,275.00. At $1,275 the maximum tax credit of $650 kicks in.

You are entitled to a tax receipt for political contributions. The electoral law requires you to provide your full name and address for contributions of $200.00 or more.
