The Ford government is proposing massive restructuring to hospitals, long-term care, home care, community care, mental health, etc. This new legislation, which has been drafted with no public consultation whatsoever will, among other things, take away local control of health care services.
The Ontario Health Coalition is organizing a series of townhall meetings in March and April and a rally April 30 to mobilize in defence of public health care and against cuts and privatization.
