No Nickel for Genocide!

As part of Palestine Solidarity Sudbury’s work in support of Palestine and to demand an end to Canada’s complicity in Israel’s genocide, its No Nickel for Genocide Working Group has launched a petition calling on the Canadian government to ban the sale of nickel to Israel and to arms manufacturers that supply Israel.

The petition can be signed by any citizen or resident of Canada. As of August 23 it has been signed by 3,806 people since being posted on the House of Commons website on June 12. It is open until October 10, after which it will be presented to Parliament by Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus. Then the government is required to respond within 45 days.
