On November 25, 2016, the world lost an outstanding and visionary leader of the Cuban revolution and revolutionary internationalist struggle, Comandante Fidel Castro. Five years after his passing — as the Cuban people commemorate and remember Fidel’s legacy — the Canadian Network on Cuba will join together for a dynamic program with participants from across Canada and Cuba marking this important anniversary. With speakers and audiovisuals dedicated to the legacy of Comandante Fidel Castro as well as videos from the Che Guevara Volunteer Work Brigade on the ground in Cuba for the fifth anniversary of Fidel’s passing.
