According to Elections Canada, most eligible electors are registered. Electors can check their registration status, including the listed address, or register for the first time either by going to their local returning office, or click here to use the Elections Canada on-line registration service.
When registering, electors will have to provide an acceptable piece of identification showing both proof of identity and proof of address.
Registration is available up until Tuesday, September 14. After that date, registration is closed until polling day, when electors can register at their polling station before they vote.
