Defend the Right of Wet’suwet’en to Uphold Their Hereditary Rights

RCMP Harassment
Since March 2022, the RCMP has subjected the Gidimt’en land defenders to a campaign of psychological warfare. Land defenders have been constantly surveilled, followed and harassed. The RCMP’s Community-Industrial Response Group officers have conducted more than 22 so-called site inspections of the Gidimt’en checkpoint at 44 km on the Morice Forest Service Road. More than 100 different officers have taken part in illegally trespassing more than 900 times on Wet’suwet’en unceded lands. To view video footage of RCMP harassment click here.
