All Out to Express Solidarity with the Cuban People!

CPC(M-L) expresses its deepest condolences to the families, friends and coworkers of the victims who perished as a result of the deadly explosion that ripped through the Hotel Saratoga in Havana on May 6. Our hearts also go out to those who were injured, with sincere wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

We call on Canadians to provide whatever help they can as Cuba goes all out to rescue and help the victims. The Cuban people and their leadership have spared no effort to ensure that as many lives as possible are saved, and that all those affected, both physically and psychologically by this tragic occurrence, receive the care and attention they need to heal.

Where to Send Help

Practical assistance of an immediate nature to help Cuba deal with this lamentable accident is being organized by the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cubans Resident in Toronto. Its members have been very active over the past year in acquiring and sending much-needed medical equipment and supplies to Cuba.
