48th Anniversary of U.S.-Sponsored Terrorist Attack on Air Cubana Flight 455

The Canadian Network on Cuba is holding an online discussion to mark the 48th anniversary of the U.S.-sponsored terrorist attack on Air Cubana Flight 455 off the coast of Barbados on October 6, 1976.

There will be excerpts from the film Cubana 455: Chronicles of October 6 and discussion with the film’s director.

There will also be discussion about the U.S. criminal blockade against Cuba and the work to get Cuba off the U.S. State Sponsors of Terrorism list.

Speakers include:

– Enrique Berumen Garcia, producer and director of Cuba 455: Chronicles of October 6
– Representative from the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations
– David Comissiong, Barbados’ Ambassador to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM)
– Representatives from the Canadian Network on Cuba and U.S. National Network on Cuba
