153rd Anniversary of the Paris Commune

Songs of the Paris Commune

The revolutionary experience of the spring of 1871 inspired a large number of poems and songs, notably the works of the popular authors Jean Baptiste Clément and Eugène Pottier who were among the ranks of the insurgents, and gave the Paris Commune its most famous songs.

The songs below are reproduced for non-profit educational purposes under fair dealing.
