This year is the 8th annual Red Dress Campaign event in Prince George. The empty red dresses represent all the murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls along the Highway of Tears and the demand that Canada provide redress for its injustices against Indigenous Peoples that lead to women and girls being treated as fair game.
