Nakba 75 Events
Affirm Palestinian People’s Right of Return!
Long Live the Palestinian People’s Resistance!
This year marks 75 years since the Nakba, “the Catastrophe” which saw over 500 Palestinian villages destroyed and depopulated, and up to 1 million Palestinians forcibly expelled from their homes. Nakba day is commemorated yearly on May 15, the first day following the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948. On this day, Palestinians around the world, whether across the lands of historic Palestine, in refugee camps, or across the diaspora, along with all those who stand together with them, condemn the ongoing Nakba and affirm the right of the Palestinian people to be and to return to their historic lands. The courageous Palestinian resistance has shown many times over that the policies of assassinations in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip and the isolation of the leaders of the prisoners’ movement will not break the will of the Palestinian people, nor will it undermine the determination of the resistance.
