November 5-6 Quebec-Wide Mobilization
Regularization for All Now!
“As the federal government prepares a regularization program for people without immigration status, we are coming together to demand that this program be truly inclusive and that it also be implemented in the province of Quebec,” says the Immigrant Workers Centre (CTI-IWC), which is organizing this cross-Quebec mobilization.
“Quebec, like Canada, has an obligation to protect the rights of all people on its territory. Regularization of migration status is an effective way to do this,” says Amnistie Internationale’s campaigns manager. “Quebec must stop turning a blind eye to its human rights obligations and the needs of our society,” she stressed.
