Stand with Cuba
Hurricane Ian Relief Campaign
The Canadian network on Cuba (CNC) is urging Canadians to contribute to their Hurricane Ian Relief Campaign to help the Cuban people overcome the tremendous damages they have suffered from the Category 3 hurricane. The CNC points out:
“Cuba has been doing everything that it can to minimize damage cause by Hurricane Ian and prevent economic and human loss. The U.S. economic blockade adds a major additional complexity and disadvantage to this crisis for Cubans, who will immediately need medical and food supplies, while the country begins to evaluate the damage and start the process of salvaging, repairing, and rebuilding.
“We ask friends of Cuba to show their solidarity at this moment and please consider donating any amount that they can to assist Cuba in these efforts.”
