Celebrate Two Important Vietnamese Anniversaries

The Canada-Vietnam Friendship Society warmly invites everyone to participate in a webinar to commemorate the 77th Anniversary of the August Revolution which began on August 19, 1945, culminating less than two weeks later in the declaration of Vietnam’s independence by President Ho Chi Minh on September 2, 1945. This momentous event, marked as National Day in Vietnam, laid the foundation for the Vietnamese people to liberate their whole country from French colonialism and U.S. imperialism, take their future into their own hands and rebuild Vietnam into the powerful, peaceful and prosperous country it is today. The webinar will include presentations, videos and discussion.
