U.S./Israeli Zionists Step Up Bestial Genocide and Terrorism Against Palestinian Resistance
According to media reports quoting a senior source in the Iranian General Staff, Iran has raised its alert level and is ready to deliver immediate responses in the event of an attack by the United States against its sovereign territory. The state of alert is in response to terrorist threats issued by U.S. President Donald Trump to bomb Iran if the country does not strike a deal over its nuclear weapons capabilities.
"If they don't make a deal, there will be bombing," he told NBC in a phone interview on March 30.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei responded on March 31 saying that while Iran believes a U.S. strike is unlikely, "if they commit any mischief they will surely receive a strong reciprocal blow." He accused the U.S. of "bullying," saying Iran will "definitely not accept their expectations."
This was followed with Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell announcing on April 2 that "the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group would be joined in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility by the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group on the orders of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth."
"To complement the CENTCOM maritime posture, the Secretary also ordered the deployment of additional squadrons and other air assets that will further reinforce our defensive air-support capabilities," he said. This includes F-35 fighters and B-2 stealth bombers, a U.S. official told USA Today.
"Should Iran or its proxies threaten American personnel and interests in the region, the United States will take decisive action to defend our people," Parnell said.
All of it is going on while world attention is focused on Donald Trump's so-called "Liberation Day" executive orders which target most of its trading "partners" with unsustainable tariffs which are causing havoc to the international trading system.
The Israeli newspaper Maariv claimed that the Iranian armed forces are aiming more than 1,000 hypersonic ballistic missiles at nuclear facilities in Israel. The missiles are programmed to target Israel's Dimona nuclear plant, as well as several other facilities in central Israel, where sensitive strategic sites have been transferred, the source quoted by Maariv said. According to the same source, Iranian forces are also aiming their missiles at U.S. military bases in the region. The Indian paper The Week reported on April 1:
"The Iranian military is contemplating striking the U.S. base at Diego Garcia to deter the U.S. from using the base to target the Islamic Republic, according to a report. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) plans to target the four long-range stealth B-2 bombers stationed at the base in the Indian Ocean."
It quotes the British paper The Telegraph saying the discussion among top IRGC officials revolves around Diego Garcia ever since the U.S. stationed the bombers there, "'The response to Trump's threats must come through action, not words. Every base in the region is within the range of our missiles,' the official said, adding that the commanders have been urging leaders to order an attack on the base if Trump's threats against Iran become serious."
"The IRGC is preparing for an all-out war and is confident that Iran's missiles can strike any target in the region, be it Bahrain or Diego Garcia," The Week writes, adding "Commanders have been instructed to ensure that all missile launchers are prepared and that nuclear facilities are protected,' the official added."
According to The Week, "satellite images showed at least three Northrop B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, along with transport and refuelling aircraft, arriving at Diego Garcia last week. These bombers can evade even the most advanced air defence systems and carry out lethal strikes."
The joint U.S.-UK Diego Garcia naval base is on the Chiagos Islands stolen from Mauritius since the 1970's. Approximately 4,000 service personnel and civilian contractors are stationed there.
The Telegraph reports that Iranian state media warned that "Iran possesses adequate weapons for such an attack from its mainland, such as newer versions of the Khorramshahr missile that have an intermediate range, and the Shahed-136B kamikaze drone with a range of 4,000km [2,485 miles]."
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait have all told the U.S. they will not permit their airspaces or territories to be used as a launchpad against Iran, including for refuelling and rescue operations, a senior U.S. official told Middle East Eye.
Other reports claim that Iranian military commanders have asked Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to change his fatwa -- Islamic judicial opinion -- and permit the production of nuclear weapons. This would also require Iran to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) due to "pressures, threats, current circumstances and the presence of a president in Washington who might embark on an ill-advised adventure," Maariv wrote.
A source in Iran's Supreme National Security Council revealed that an informal and secret meeting was held between U.S. and Iranian representatives in the Omani capital, Muscat, on March 28. The aim is said to have been to pave the way for formal meetings between the two sides. Three representatives from each side attended the meeting which, according to the source, was "very positive."

Resistance Leaders Pledge Support for Palestinian Resistance in Face of New Dangers

Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem speaks on
Al-Qud's Day
In speeches on March 29, International Al-Qud's Day, Resistance leaders pledged to support the Palestinian Resistance in the face of the new dangers.
Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem reaffirmed the steadfastness of the Palestinian Resistance, emphasizing that it remains deeply rooted in the people. He declared that reversing course is not an option, as the region undergoes a significant transformation with direct and tangible effects.
"We believe that the Palestinian cause is that of justice, we stand firm in our commitment, and we believe in the liberation of the holy sites," Qassem stressed, affirming that Lebanon's best interests lie in standing with the oppressed and supporting Palestine, Al-Mayadeen reported.
He warned that Israel is an expansionist enemy with no boundaries, determined to surpass all limits. He underscored that the Resistance remains a legitimate and natural response to these plots and ambitions.
"The Israeli enemy, with the support of ruthless U.S. tyranny, has set goals for itself: Expansion, ending the Resistance, and controlling the future of Lebanon," Qassem said, stating that the Lebanese state bears the responsibility of stepping out of the diplomatic paradigm in certain instances to confront the occupation.
Dismissing Israeli pretexts for the resumption of its aggression on Lebanon as meaningless, he insisted that Lebanon and its Resistance have remained committed to the Ceasefire Agreement, while Israel continues its assault. "There must be an end to this assault; we cannot accept that this approach continues," he said, urging the Lebanese state to take a firm stand.
"We cannot accept normalization (of relations) or political paths through which Israel achieves what it could not through war," Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized. "The leaders of the Lebanese state are on a path of rejecting normalization," he added, underscoring that Lebanon's commitment to resisting Israeli assaults remains unwavering.
He also strongly rejected attempts to shift the balance of power in the region, stating that any such actions would be met with resolute opposition.
"If Israel thinks it can establish a new equation by attacking the southern suburbs, the south, and the Bekaa, this will not be accepted," he said, warning that Hezbollah would not tolerate any Israeli actions aimed at destabilizing Lebanon.
Sheikh Qassem also urged the Lebanese government to prioritize reconstruction, pledging that Hezbollah would fully support the state in these efforts. "The government must begin discussions on reconstruction, and we, as Hezbollah, will stand by the Lebanese state," he stated, emphasizing the importance of unity in rebuilding Lebanon.
Sheikh Naim Qassem also said the United States is attempting to dismantle the Palestinian cause through Israel. He said Palestine has been under occupation for over 75 years, yet Israel has failed to erase the Palestinian identity.
"Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was carried out to change the equation. The light of the Palestinian cause shines as a beacon of truth in the world, not to be extinguished," he said. The crimes of Israel have brought the true identity of the regime to the fore, he said adding that "The Zionist regime is grappling with an existential crisis and cannot secure its presence through occupation."
The U.S. displacement plan for Gaza, is "extremely dangerous," Qassem said. "This plan aims to end the Palestinian cause, displace the Palestinian people, occupy the lands of Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, and dominate West Asia according to the Western design." Continuous sacrifices and resistance will thwart this scheme, he said
Iran Pledges to Continue to Stand by Palestine
Iran remains committed to supporting the Palestinian cause through both direct backing for Resistance forces and military operations such as True Promise, General Esmaeil Qa'ani, Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said on March 26.
Qa'ani hailed the 2023 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood by Hamas, describing it as "a combination of battlefield resistance and popular resistance." He said the operation "introduced a new phenomenon of unity among resistance fronts," demonstrating their strength and solidarity. He reaffirmed Iran's unwavering support for the resistance front, stressing that it will "continue until the ultimate goal of liberating Al-Quds is achieved."
Palestinian Resistance Undaunted
Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya pointed out that the current phase of the Palestinian fight for liberation of which Al-Aqsa Flood was a turning point, is unprecedented in the history of Palestine. Operation Al-Aqsa Flood irreversibly reshaped the struggle for Palestine, he said. The operation demonstrated the ability of the Resistance to take the initiative and launch attacks, exposing the Zionist entity's security and military failures, he added. Despite months of relentless killing, terrorism, and destruction, with the full support of the U.S., the occupation has failed to break the will of the Palestinian people, he said.
Al-Hayya said the Resistance has succeeded in revealing the true nature of the occupation as the prime adversary of the Muslim world. The ongoing struggle, Al-Hayya said, has forged a new regional power dynamic, uniting fighters from Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran in a common front against the occupation.
Al-Hayya also highly appreciated the role played by the "free people across the world" who have rallied to condemn Israel's aggression, reject the U.S. support for its crimes, and denounce the acts of terrorism committed by the occupation, which, he said, disregards all ethical and humanitarian values.
Al-Hayya called on the Arab and Islamic world to take a firm stand, saying the time had come to break the silence that the occupation exploits to push forward its expansionist agenda in the region. He said it is the duty of the entire Muslim Ummah to defend Al-Aqsa mosque, the second most important for the Muslim Ummah and support the people of Gaza and Palestine in their struggle. Any compromise on even a fraction of Al-Aqsa would be an act of betrayal against the faith, the nation, and the sacrifices of martyrs, Al-Hayya said.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian resistance movement Islamic Jihad, Ziad al-Nakhalah, stated, "Our people have demonstrated their strength and have not budged in the face of global conspiracies. Al-Quds has always been the greatest weapon in the world."
Al-Nakhalah honoured the martyrs of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, saying "these brave men fought the enemy with unparalleled courage."
"Despite the sacrifices, the bond of unity within the Resistance in the region will never be broken. The Palestinian people will stand firm on their land and will accept nothing less than their rightful soil," he said.
Yemen's Ansarullah Resistance Movement Will Not Back Down

Sana'a, Yemen rally stands with Palestine, March 28, 2025
The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, also warned that Israel's ongoing aggression, backed by the United States, is aimed at dismantling the Palestinian cause. "The Israeli enemy's actions, mass killings, destruction of infrastructure, starvation, and thirst, clearly reveal their attempt to forcibly displace the Palestinian people," he said.
Al-Houthi called on Arab nations to take a "bold, historic stand" to prevent the displacement of the Palestinians and resist normalization with Israel. He said such displacement can only succeed with the complicity of certain Arab countries.
"If the Israeli enemy succeeds in displacing the Palestinian people, the next target will be Palestine's neighboring countries and the wider Arab world," he warned.
Despite the U.S. attacks, Yemen will not back down and will continue its operations in support of the Palestinian people, al-Houthi said.

New Proposal by Egypt and Qatar for Ending
the Genocidal War
in
Gaza
On March 28, Egypt and Qatar advanced a new proposal for ending the genocidal war in Gaza. Discussions on the proposal are said to be at an "advanced stage" according to the head of Hamas in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya.
On the same day, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty confirmed that consensus had been reached on the members of the non-partisan committee set to oversee the administration of the Gaza Strip during a six-month transitional period.
"The committee would assume its responsibilities immediately upon agreement to prevent any propaganda efforts by the enemy," Al-Hayya said.
He stressed that "true to form," the Israeli Occupation had "stalled and evaded and sabotaged all mediation efforts to secure a comprehensive ceasefire and full withdrawal from Gaza." Not surprising, Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the new proposal by Egypt and Qatar by repeating that Israel is only prepared to discuss ending its genocidal war on condition that Hamas lay down its weapons and for its leaders to leave Gaza.
Al-Hayya said in these negotiations the Resistance is seeking international assurances that the violence in Gaza will not resume. The Resistance will not disarm and will not surrender.
Committing to work to realize the latest proposals of Egypt and Qatar is in keeping with its three key objectives according to the Resistance: first, ending Israeli aggression; second, unifying Palestinians to build on the gains of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation; and third, coordinating with all Palestinian organizations to achieve their fundamental rights -- including establishing a fully sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and guaranteeing refugees' right of return.
"We will never accept humiliation or disgrace for our people -- no displacement and no expulsion. The Resistance weapons are a red line, intrinsically linked to the continuation of the occupation and the aspiration to establish an independent Palestinian state. As long as the occupation persists, these weapons will remain a safeguard for our people and their state, protecting their rights and resources," al-Hayya said. "We say frankly to those who believe that Hamas and the Resistance organizations might abandon their responsibilities or leave their people to an uncertain fate dictated by the occupation: you are delusional," al-Hayya said.

Israel Continues Genocide
and Ethnic Cleansing
of Gaza and West
Bank
Israeli continues its genocidal violence and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank. In Gaza, more than 1,000 people have been killed since Israel resumed large-scale strikes on March 18, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported in Gaza. The official overall death toll in Gaza since the war began in October 2023 has reached 50,357 people.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are also unleashing mass destruction of the Palestinian refugee camps. The Israeli army has announced plans to completely wipe out the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nour Shams refugee camps, with the goal of preventing them from serving as "incubators for terrorist organizations," Israeli media quoted the military saying.
In Jenin Israeli forces have destroyed or seized more than 3,250 houses, according to the media committee of Jenin camp. Some were outright destroyed, while others were seized and turned into military barracks.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported on March 31 that the Zionist war machine besieged the Nour Shams refugee camp, in the northern West Bank, deploying bulldozers in al-Manshiya and al-Maslakh neighborhoods. IOF forces set fire to many homes in the Nour Shams camp where they have been carrying out house raids and damaging infrastructure. In Tulkarm and its refugee camps, since the beginning of the latest offensive, at least 4,000 families have been displaced as the Israelis totally leveled 396 homes and partially razed 2,573 more. An estimated 24,000 people have been forced to leave from both the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps.
Along with widespread destruction by the IOF, including the demolition of homes, businesses, and vehicles, many of which have been either completely or partially destroyed, burned, looted, or damaged, is the terrorist violence by occupation "settlers" backed by the IOF. They descend on Palestinian homes, beat and murder, destroy barns, steal livestock and destroy olive trees with impunity.
An estimated 700,000 Israelis permanently occupy illegal settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.

Cold Blooded Murder of Red
Crescent
Workers by Israel

Funeral, March 31, 2025
for Palestinian Red Crescent workers killed by Israel
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced on March 30 that it had recovered the bodies of 14 workers in Rafah, southern Gaza, following an Israeli airstrike about a week ago. The victims included eight Red Crescent medics, five Civil Defense workers, and a UN agency employee.
PRCS said in a statement that the workers "were targeted by the Israeli occupation forces while performing their humanitarian duties as they were heading to the Hashashin area of Rafah to provide first aid to a number of people injured by Israeli shelling in the area."
"The occupation's targeting of Red Crescent medics [...] can only be considered a war crime punishable under international humanitarian law, which the occupation continues to violate before the eyes of the entire world," PRCS added.
Exclusive satellite images obtained by Al-Jazeera and Sanad News Agency confirm that the Israeli army destroyed at least six rescue vehicles belonging to the Red Crescent and Civil Defense. These vehicles had been used by the 15 volunteer crews targeted during a humanitarian mission in the Tel al-Sultan neighbourhood, west of Rafah. Sanad's satellite images taken on March 25 show the completely destroyed vehicles in two adjacent locations on Al-Muharrarat Street. The images also reveal the deployment of Israeli military and engineering vehicles conducting intensive bulldozing operations at the site.
The Israeli army later sealed off Al-Muharrarat Street with an earthen barrier. Red Crescent and Civil Defense have both condemned the attacks as deliberate violations of international humanitarian law.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) also issued a statement on March 31 saying it too is appalled that eight medics from the Palestine Red Crescent Society were killed while carrying out their work but made no mention of Israeli responsibility or holding Israel to account for these crimes. The ICRC did however go on to recognize "the medical staff and first responders in Gaza who have been responding to unimaginable suffering day after day, and many have been killed in the course of their work. The high number of medical personnel killed during this conflict is devastating. The ICRC strongly condemns attacks on health care workers."

Hamas Land Day Statement
On the 49th anniversary of Land Day, the Hamas Movement reaffirmed the Palestinian people's deep-rooted connection to their historic land, adding that the Israeli occupation has no sovereignty or legitimacy over an iota of the Palestinian land, including Jerusalem.
"The 49th anniversary of Land Day comes amidst a campaign of genocide, displacement, ethnic cleansing, and settlement and annexation crimes carried out by the fascist occupation government against the Palestinian people across our land in Gaza, the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem. However, this has strengthened our belief that the Resistance is the only means to defend our land and holy sites, extract our legitimate rights, and foil all the occupation's aggressive plans," Hamas said in a statement on March 29.
Hamas expressed its belief that the Palestinian people would remain deeply rooted in their land, defending it until they succeed in liberating it from the Israeli occupation; would continue defending and protecting Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which it described as "jewels in the crown of our historic and blessed land," and defended the right of return of the Palestinian people.
"The refugees' right to return to their homeland and areas from which they were forcibly displaced is imprescriptible. This right is both individual and collective, and no one has the authority to relinquish it," the Movement highlighted.

Iran Responds to U.S.
Threats of
Military Aggression
U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Iran on March 30 with bombing and secondary tariffs if the government did not agree with U.S. demands over what is called its nuclear program. The previous week Iran responded through Oman to a letter from Trump demanding Tehran agree to a new nuclear deal. It wrote that its policy is to not engage in direct negotiations with the United States while under its maximum pressure campaign and military threats.
Trump responded through a telephone interview with NBC. "If they don't make a deal, there will be bombing," Trump said. "It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before," he said. "There's a chance that if they don't make a deal, that I will do secondary tariffs on them like I did four years ago," he added.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said U.S. President Trump's open threat of "bombing" the country is an affront to global peace and security. "An open threat of 'bombing' by a Head of State against Iran is a shocking affront to the very essence of International Peace and Security," Baghaei wrote.
A high-ranking commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) also warned that the U.S. forces should avoid "throwing stones at others." Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC's Aerospace Division said "The Americans have 10 [military] bases in the region, particularly around Iran and 50,000 troops based in there. This means they are sitting in a glass house; and when one sits in a glass house, one does not throw stones at others."

World Stands with Palestinian Resistance
Against
Ongoing U.S./Israeli
Genocide
Actions in support of the Palestinian people continued worldwide during March. A number of mass actions on International Women's Day, March 8, highlighted the heroic struggle of Palestinian women and called for an end to the U.S./Israeli genocide and an end to the occupation of Palestine.
Starting immediately on March 18 after Israel broke the Ceasefire Agreement and resumed all-out war on Gaza people took to the streets around the world.
Al-Quds Day, March 28, was marked by actions in many countries. The day was initiated by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979 to show support for the Palestinian people and to affirm that all of Palestine, including Al-Quds (Jerusalem) belongs to the Palestinians.
The
month closed with actions on the 49th Palestinian Land Day,
March 30,
marked every year to commemorate six Palestinians killed in
1976 while
protesting the seizure of their lands and to denounce the
ongoing theft
of Palestinian lands and uphold the Right of Return for all
those who
have been dispossessed.
Most importantly, the actions show that
the peoples of the world are defying the inaction of the
international
community due to an international rule of law which fails to
hold the
U.S. and Israel as well as the Genocide 7 to account for their
crimes
against humanity. The rallying cry of the peoples of the
world is We Are All
Palestinians!

More
than 3,000 people participated in the annual Al-Quds Day march
on March
24 to stand as one with the Palestinian people.
The
event took
place in defiance of weeks-long efforts of Zionist organizations
to get
Canadian politicians and state officials to cancel the event as
"anti-Semitic." It started with a rally outside the
U.S.
consulate which Zionist hooligans, protected by the Toronto
Police,
tried but failed to disrupt.
The event militantly
opposed
Canada's role in supporting the U.S./Zionist genocide against
the
Palestinians. Speakers called for an immediate arms embargo
against
Israel and withdrawal of all support to the Zionist state and an
end to
the occupation.
The increasing isolation of the
U.S./Zionist
forces and their allies in the Canadian parliaments was pointed
out.
During the federal election Palestinian solidarity activists
will make
known the incumbent MPs and other candidates who have defended
the
genocide either openly or by their silence, so that voters know
where
they stand.
Voices were also raised against the
ongoing targeting and criminalizing of activists and supporters
of
Palestine in Canada.
Following
the rally, participants marched through downtown streets with
chants
of From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free! From

INTERNATIONAL
United States
Across the U.S. there have been mass demonstrations throughout March demanding an end to U.S. participation in the genocide, and an end to the persecution of pro-Palestinian activists in the U.S. The Trump administration has targeted many individuals including international students, citing a statute authorizing the Secretary of State to expel non-citizens from the country if their presence is a threat to U.S. foreign policy interests.
On March 8 U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested and detained Mahmoud Khalil who had participated in protests at Columbia University, revoking his green card. Yunseo Chung, another Columbia student and U.S. resident who moved to the U.S. from Korea as a child, was arrested and is being threatened with deportation for participating in a sit-in at Barnard College protesting the expulsion of students who participated in pro-Palestinian activism. Rumeysa Ozturk, a Turkish student was detained by federal officers in Boston and taken to an ICE detention centre in Louisiana. Others, non-students and students including visiting scholars from India, Palestine, Iran and Lebanon have also been deported or threatened with deportation.

Tens of thousands rallied in cities across Egypt against Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people and in support of their right to be. In Cairo, thousands demonstrated at Al-Hussein Mosque after the Eid prayers, expressing their backing for Egypt's official stance rejecting the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. Thousands of Egyptians gathered in squares throughout the country to express their solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
In the city of Hurghada, demonstrators waving Palestinian and Egyptian flags chanted slogans in support of Palestine, affirming their solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the genocide carried out by U.S./Israel.
At the same time, the Egyptian State Information Service (SIS) asserted that "Egypt has categorically and unequivocally denied claims circulated by some media outlets that it is prepared to temporarily relocate half a million Gaza residents to a designated city in North Sinai as part of Gaza's reconstruction."
"Egypt has resolutely and definitively rejected any attempt to
forcibly or voluntarily displace Palestinian brothers and
sisters to
any location outside Gaza, especially to Egyptian territories,
as this
would represent the liquidation of the Palestinian cause and
pose an
imminent threat to
Egypt's national security," it pointed out. The statement
concluded by
reaffirming that "Egypt's steadfast and clear position forms the
basis
of the plan it presented at the recent Cairo-hosted emergency
Arab
summit for Gaza's reconstruction."
