All Out for March 9 National March on Ottawa

From coast to coast to coast, Canadians and Quebeckers from all walks of life continue to mobilize to defend the Palestinian people and oppose the Canadian establishment's appeasement of Israeli genocidal actions in the name of high ideals. With the success of last year's national march on Ottawa on November 25 and the urgent need to stop Israel and for the Canadian government to end its role as an accomplice of Zionist genocide, another national march on Ottawa is being organized for March 9 at 1:00 pm on Parliament Hill. Organizers write:

"For over 150 days, Palestinians in Gaza continue to undergo a genocide and ethnic cleansing at the hands of the Zionist occupation. Over 30,000 Palestinian civilians have been massacred since the beginning of the genocide, with over 2,000,000 Palestinians displaced. Despite Israel's blatant violations of international law, Canada continues to support the apartheid state, making it complicit in the ongoing genocide against Palestinians.

"In the heart of the capital, Ottawa, we will unite our voices to demand an end to all Canadian Complicity with the colonial entity of Israel by demanding:

"- An Arms Embargo on Israel

- Economic and Political Sanctions on Israel

- Immediate reinstatement of UNRWA funding

"We urge all people of conscience across the country to unite in solidarity with Palestine."
