2014 Photo Review

All Out for People's Empowerment!

August

In this issue, TML Daily continues its 2014 photo review with events in the month of August. As the month begins actions continue across Canada against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza and the Canadian government's support for Israeli crimes. Every August the Party celebrates a number of important anniversaries. This year's events included a reception in Ottawa on August 15 to mark the 75th anniversary of the birth of the Party's founder and leader Hardial Bains. The following day a Commemorative Concert took place at Beechwood Cemetery, honouring the memory of Hardial Bains and all the Party comrades whose contribution imbues the Party with its proletarian spirit and broad-minded outlook to involve everyone in opening society's path to progress. The following week, the Hardial Bains Resource Centre sponsored a program of videos and discussion on the work of Comrade Bains marking the 25th anniversary of the historic meeting in Chertsey, Quebec in 1989. The week culminated with the celebration in Etobicoke of 44 years of the Party Press and a second Commemorative Concert.
