2013 Photo Review
One Class One Program
September
TML Daily
is continuing its month by month photo review of actions carried out by
workers, women and other collectives throughout 2013. Workers and their
defence organizations used the occasion of Labour Day to bring forward
the fights they are waging in defence of the rights of all, to protect
social programs and public
services, to restrict monopoly right and demand the government put an
end to nation-wrecking. The Harper government's nation-wrecking was
also opposed by scientists from coast to coast with a second day of
action to "Stand up for Science." Canadians continued the broad
opposition to the U.S.-led threats of imperialist
aggression and war against Syria. September also marked the 15th
anniversary of the unjust imprisonment of the Cuban Five in U.S.
prisons and Cuba friendship organizations across the country went all
out to break the silence on the case of the Five and demand their
immediate freedom.
