CPC(M-L) Condemns the Killing of Palestinian Leader

The Sacrifice of the Resistance Forces Knows No Limits

The Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist) joins the Palestinian people and their Resistance in mourning the death of the Palestinian freedom fighter and Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in battle against the Israeli Zionist armed forces in Rafah.

Yahya Sinwar was greatly admired, highly effective, tremendously courageous; an obstacle to the nefarious plans of the U.S./Israeli Zionists to eradicate the Palestinian people and create a Greater Israel which dominates West Asia and North Africa. Will they now succeed? No, they will not succeed. The Resistance is not one individual, but a whole integral force, connected together and advancing the fight for a free Palestine.

In Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Iran and all countries caught in the maelstrom of unfolding events, we see cowards and heroes face to face.

The cowards are the U.S./Zionist forces, their Genocide Cartel including the Government of Canada, and appeasers. For them no crime is too much so long as their wars, violence and power can carry on. They are devoured by revenge and hatred because they suffer one failure after the other as their wretched plans do not bring them the victories they desire. They think that their depraved actions can dictate the outcome according to their vile wishes. But all the world sees is their genocide with its bottomless pit of depravity.

Those who think they can dictate to history by creating new killing fields boast that their vile consciousness and actions signify their victory. President Joe Biden congratulated the Zionists and proclaimed the martyr's death a "Good day for Israel, for the United States, and for the world." He called it a "moment of justice," and an "opportunity" for promoting a ceasefire to the U.S. liking.

The Resistance forces have made clear they will persist in their just cause of freedom for Palestine, and the world's peoples stand with them. They have no confidence in the U.S. boasting which drips with their shame, failure, dishonour and cowardice.

The heroes are the forces fighting for the New who know that history does not follow anyone's wishes. History is the realization of what is objective, what is inherent in the existing relations, at the same time what is conscious and consistent with it. This is the hallmark of the Resistance forces. This was the hallmark of Yahya Sinwar. It inspires confidence, courage and conviction that victory will be theirs, that it is the peoples and their drive for new relations of empowerment that will prevail.

History is rendering its verdict. The judgement will fall on those who are in a hurry to get rid of the freedom fighters and ignore what they represent, why they are fighting, what inspires them to reach new heights of glory as they open new paths to achieving freedom and liberation.

The Resistance forces are in step with the forces which make history. Theirs is the human force which will overtake whatever stands in the way of humanity's quest for peace, freedom and democracy. No matter what calculations the cowards make, their reckoning is sterile in the face of the mighty human beings who are propelling the wheels of history in their own favour.

Deepest sympathies to the Palestinian people, to the Resistance Movement Hamas and all Resistance forces for the loss of Yahya Sinwar.

These are trying and perilous times. History calls on humanity to forge a broad political united front which supports the Resistance forces. Such a broad political front, led by the working class and uniting the peoples of each country with the world's peoples, will settle scores with the old conscience of society which gives the U.S./Zionist depravity impunity to kill women and children, families and entire populations en masse to achieve aims which cannot be condoned.

All Out to Support the Palestinian Resistance!
