The keynote speaker will be Euphemia “Ka Mimi” Doringo, spokesperson for KADAMAY an organization of the urban poor sector in the Philippines, whose members and activists face frequent raids, harassment and arrests. Following the keynote, there will be a Q&A session where participants can ask questions and find connections between their own organizing and the struggle of the urban poor in the Philippines.
