The Colombian Movement in Solidarity with Cuba would like to give the Liberator Simon Bolivar Fraternal Award to the Canadian Network on Cuba, Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba, and Friends of Cuba Against the U.S. Blockade—Vancouver for the Cuba solidarity work that has been done virtually during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event will feature special greetings from ICAP, the Cuban Embassy in Canada and the Cuban Embassy in Colombia. There will also be speakers from the Cuba solidarity movement in Canada and Colombia as well as cultural performances.

As everyone knows, this time of global pandemic has been challenging on many levels, but the Canadian Network on Cuba has been able to make many new valuable connections with the Cuba solidarity movement worldwide, which can only strengthen our work into the future. The event will feature simultaneous translation into English and Spanish.
