On May 19, reflecting the concern of many Prince George residents, more than a hundred people rallied — on short notice — to show support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against Israeli brutality, occupation and eviction from their land.

Standing on the boulevard and both sides of a busy street, participants waved Palestinian flags and carried placards with slogans that included “Free Palestine,” “In Solidarity with the People of Palestine,” and “End Imperialism Now.”

People passing by in cars and trucks honked and waved in support. In their comments, organizers of the rally pledged to keep up their opposition to the Israeli attacks which people around the world are condemning.
