On Sunday, December 6, 2020, twenty million Venezuelans will go to the polls to elect members of the National Assembly. In spite of an international campaign to discredit the Venezuelan electoral process, encouraged by the U.S. and the European Union, Venezuela will follow its Constitutional process in which 14,000 candidates from one hundred political organizations are to participate.
