The UN vote against the United States’ embargo on Cuba will be taking place during a session of the United Nations’ General Assembly on November 6-7. The Table de concertation de solidarité Québec-Cuba (Quebec-Cuba Solidarity Roundtable) is organizing a discussion with the Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Mara Bilbao Diaz, on the major significance of that vote, within the context of the struggle against the application of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act and against the intensification of U.S. actions against Cuba and the Americas.
